About Junior Chamber International

JCI is a nonprofit organization of young active citizens age 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities. Active citizens are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers active citizens from all sectors of society.

We develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and take action. As globally minded young people, we all have rights, responsibilities and share goals. We find targeted solutions to local issues benefitting our communities, our world and our future. Embracing new ideas, collaboration and diversity, we have the passion and courage to address the critical challenges of our time.

JCI has 100+ national organizations, 5000+ local chapters and 200000+ active members worldwide.

JCI in Finland

In Finland JCI focuses on promoting sustainable leadership and social responsibility. JCI chapters in Finland organise locally, regionally and nationally various promotions, events, projects and trainings to improve, educate and train its members.

As a member of JCI (a JC) you can grow as a person, be better, and develop your professional skills. For example teamwork, project management, everyday leadership, sales and marketing, and presentation skills.

JCI Finland is also a network of young professionals. There are local over 70 local chapters all around Finland and over 2000 active members.

JCI Lappeenranta

JCI Lappeenranta offers it’s members an opportunity to develop themselves professionally and personally. Chapter members can also meet local like-minded active young people.

JCI Lappeenranta organises every year locally impactfull projects and interesting trainings and enjoyable events for the chapter members.
